Kanata is known as one of the most high-profile and successful song-writers in the Asian market. Kanata moved from Japan to Malmoe Sweden to sign with RoastingHouse Music in 2013.
After contributing to over 200 projects as a successful singer and lyricist in her early career,
Kanata started exploiting her possibility also as a top-liner in 2012. Not surprisingly, Kanata has developed her profile to a completely different plateau only in two years since then, and is now known as one of the most high-profile and successful song-writers in the Asian market.
Kanata’s writing talent is quite diversified, having covered many different styles such as from an uplifting pop sound for a fresh boyband to a stylish dance for a glamorous diva, and her recent achievement includes many of established artists both in Japan and Korea, such as Namie Amuro, EXILE ATSUSHI, Girls Generation, E-Girls, FLOWER, SMAP, Hey! Say! Jump and to name a few.
It is not only in Japan where people have paid their attention to her great momentum, but her reputation is being widely spread out to the world, and as a consequence of that, Kanata is now exclusively signed by the Swedish publisher RoastingHouse Music, which is the first ever experience by any Japanese song-writer in the history.
